Welcome Parents / Guardians of WARRIORS!
These are the practices and policies of Calvary Assembly of God Childrens Church, known as WARRIORS.
WARRIORS - Action Plan!
On November 9th the Children's Church, now known as WARRIORS, is embarking on an exciting new journey. The four leaders (Laurie, Sue, Margaret, & Val) will be rotating, with each one teaching the class once a month. We will begin a new unit based curriculum, which will enable us to continue to grow in our ability and effectiveness to minister to the children. Since each one of us will be teaching one lesson within that month's unit, continuity and consistency will be enhanced.
We are so honored to witness your child's walk with God. We are committed to making their learning time and safety our #1 priority. It is for this reason we are instituting the following procedures.
Parents/guardians of children who are a part of WARRIORS on a regular basis will find an info. card in their church mailbox.
Please fill this out and on Nov. 9th bring the info. card with you as you escort your child / children to the WARRIORS Room.
Anyone who has not completed an info. card may do so at this time. After that initial "sign-up" the following steps will be followed every Sunday:
WARRIORS - Procedures
- When the children are released to go to WARRIORS the parent/guardian will bring their child(ren) to the WARRIORS Room.
- Upon arrival, they will sign their child(ren) in on the "sign-in" sheet provided. At any time during the service, if you are needed for: (Examples) bathroom visits, discipline issues (See attached explanation of the Red Light, Green Light, 1,2,3 method of discipline), health problems or emotional distress, an assistant will come notify you (discretely) in the sanctuary.
- Please come to the WARRIORS Room immediately to see what the concern is and to follow up as needed.
- Upon completion of the sermon, PLEASE come to the WARRIORS Room and SIGN YOUR CHILD OUT. Children WILL NOT BE RELEASED until the designated adult has completed this procedure.
We appreciate your cooperation with this process and ask for your patience and understanding as we co-labor with you to serve the children. We may seem small right now, but God is pouring out His blessing and we are growing. Once our numbers have multiplied, it will make things so much easier to already have a successful system in place.
May God richly bless this generation of WARRIORS!
